Research Director, National Observatory of Athens

Dr Sevastianos Moirasgentis is a Research Director at the National Observatory of Athens, working on climate change policy. He is a chemical engineer with a PhD in energy and environmental economics. He has taken part in a large number of research projects and has published more than 200 papers in the field, 70 of them in peer-reviewed international journals. He was a Lead Author of the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), as well as of the Global Energy Assessment.
